Naren Dhar, an Indian protocol officer at the Assistant High Commission in Chittagong found dead in a mysterious circumstances.

Naren Dhar also referred to as Narendra Dharage age 38, from Chandigarh.

The body was recovered from the mission premises (specifically reported as in front of the bathroom door of a data entry room on the second floor of the old visa centre building) on Zakir Hossain Road in the Khulshi area of Chittagong.

Police recovered the body around 9:30 AM after being informed. No visible injury marks or signs of foul play were immediately apparent

Initial Assessment: Local police suspect a possible cardiac arrest (heart-related issue), but this is preliminary. The exact cause of death is not yet confirmed.

Post-Mortem: The body was sent to the morgue at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for autopsy/postmortem. Initial examination by hospital officials noted the man was brought dead with no suspicious external signs. An “unnatural death” case has been filed.

Background: Dhar served as an assistant protocol officer at the Indian Assistant High Commission in Chittagong. The Indian mission is in contact with his family, and a Bangladesh police investigation is underway. No official statement from the Indian government has been highlighted in early reports.
